I honestly don’t think this would be overly complex to implement, and it would add a huge amount of variety to the gameplay.

I have always absolutely loved single player career type gameplay and it was always enjoyable for me even before this current version of the game but, the current campaign is some of the most fun I have ever had playing a game. i can sink literal days into fleshing out a company and designing cars.
