As a fan of the story, I’d say this is easily the strongest entry in the Garten of Banban series so far!
The colorful art style associated with the series remains intact, but it is cleverly contrasted with unsettling imagery and eerie environmental details that reinforce the horror without abandoning the franchise's distinctive identity.
The framerate drops like never before, constantly freezing on good specs, they take away your ability to move every 30 seconds minimum, they take away your ability to jump to make puzzles artificially harder, ontop of the appalling gameplay, I genuinely did not know what was going on in any of the segments, I was simply being dropped in different settings for 10~ minutes and then a character I barely know would come to save me, only for me to be in another situation to do it all again.
I like the music and design there.
The death screens were interesting, however it leads me into the largest problem, the optimization of this entry.... could've been much better, I worry the better quality assets and graphical improvements led to this problem.
In comparison, 8’s puzzles felt either too easy or too repetitive.
