What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
I was hopeful for Needy Streamer Overload-esque aesthetics and an appropriately good story, based on the good reputation of the developers.
With a bland story and monotonous gameplay, I rate this game a 6/10 because of UI design, charming main characters and their designs, with a nice song selection, while keeping true to the 2010's denpa internet aesthetic.
Even if the gameplay is lackluster in your own standards, you can still appreciate the art style, VA and some Denpa songs, which are probably the cherry on top in this game.
One of the strongest aspects of the game is its soundtrack.
As much as I love denpa, want to support this game, its developers and the DLC creators, it feels bad to pay $48 USD for this language slop.
I don't know if a lot of games like this exist - diegetic interface hikikomori life-sims combined with rhythm games - but this is the first one that found me and I'm pretty obsessed with it.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
