What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The progression is well thought out, and the narrative is cohesive throughout its tale.
Sadly, some of the open-world objectives can be repetitive and boring, but the main story missions and minigames tend to make up for it.
Add in the materia that can be used, the summons that can be summoned, the limit breaks that can be utilized, you have a beautifully crafted combat system that can be likened to a dance.
From a presentation standpoint, the game’s visuals are overall pretty good, however there are some pretty low res textures here and there and the performance isn’t great.
The audio is quite good, voice acting is cheesy but everyone commits and the music is outstanding.
Every playable character feels unique and fun to play, each of them having a massive skill-tree, synergy abilities and more.
