What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The fast-paced and varied gameplay is great.
I've played a lot of it (steam hours didn't update but I got around 7h in by the time I am writing this, steam says 3h) and the more I play, the jankier it gets.
The only downside I highlight is the current balance—it's challenging in the beginning but becomes too easy towards the end.
It has its own art style that seems to pull from a souls-like aesthetic with a perfect blend of rogue-like, and souls-like gameplay.
Sound design supports this effectively, using ambient audio and combat cues to reinforce tension without overwhelming the player.
I have only played on Steam Deck.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
