I know that there is a balance in how many characters you can have total, otherwise it'd become difficult/impossible to map out or plan on which heroes to move towards, but I think that with how many "Statues" that give you a direct line to picking which heroes you want, I'd like to see more options and upgrade paths.
Visual clutter gets pretty intense, you'll want to turn options lower, cap your framerate, and also turn off dmg numbers and attack effects - late game gets pretty intensive.
