What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
(I wish this translated into the gameplay better...)
The creatures look gorgeous, the game-play is a good challenge, and the large variety of monster encounters, quest rewards, as well as the inclusion of the syringe mechanic (where you can take an ability from one creature and put it on another) really add on to the amount of depth there is to the game.
tldr, If you're looking for a challenging rogue-lite deck builder with stunning visuals then I would whole-heartedly recommend this game.
While environments may not drastically change as you progress, the atmosphere remains consistent and immersive, supported by a moody soundtrack that underscores the descent into increasingly hostile territory.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 2 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
