its a good game with decent story you should definately check this out and remember there are two endings bad (canon) ending and good ending. so if you want to complete with good ending then make sure to collect moral points from the start (for that you can watch tutorial on yt )

Its oppressive atmosphere, memorable setting, and solid gameplay hold up remarkably well.

the sound engine was developed specifically for 2033 and it shows. i have not once in 100s of games heard a game sound so accurate, so real and overwhelming, gunshots recorded in ukranian underground tunnels, footsteps perfectly matching spatial perception. 2014 graphics become irrelevant when you understand how well the atmosphere and sound synergise.

Performance
Players who bring up Performance mostly praise it.
At the end of the day, its a solid, mainly linear FPS with a decent story based on a great book and its the first game in a franchise that has an absolute banger in Metro Exodus (from what I've been told), so I do recommend playing this game especially if you want some early 2010's nostalgia.

there’s just so much the game does to you man, the atmosphere, the sound effects, gosh it’s amazing but of course this game comes with downsides too

I don’t know I’m weird I enjoy playing games like this where I don’t have a magic HUD on the screen; it immerses me more
