The environments are also far more interesting than "just the overworld but smaller" and are abstract areas that tie into the themes of the area being fought in. the game has gone from being relatively straightforward and direct with it's visuals, to, being abstract, and, i can't believe i'm saying this, actually living up to the "postmodern" moniker

The Karta system is fun, the bleed mechanic adds a sense of urgency (really driving up the stakes), and the dynamic camera angles make every movement exciting!

The moment I loaded up this demo, I was met with the beautiful main menu screen, which brings me to my favorite part of this demo: the character animations are phenomenal, expressive and stylized!
