What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The general outline of the plot I found to be intriguing and captivating when it needed to be.
ZP is a mix of complex yet familiar setting, diverse and deep characters, gut-wrenching drama, and hilarious jokes, masterfully delivered through incredible voice-acting.
It functions similarly to the mechanics in Esoteric Ebb, where acquiring a condition immediately prompts a dialogue and imposes unique gameplay restrictions, such as limiting how you save or interact with vending machines.
The characters, the worldbuilding, the art style, I loved every aspect of the experience.
Actually clicking on stuff is wonky, and despite claiming to have controller support it's hard to get it to do what you want, on a steam deck verified game.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and is not shown.
