Nautical Survival

There could be easier achievements/unlocks for the beginning of the game to allow for a couple more guns and crew members in subsequent runs, allowing new players to feel a slightly more satisfying sense of progression and adding to replayability.

From the moment a run begins, the game establishes its core identity: fast-paced, top-down ship combat set on hostile waters where survival depends on smart positioning, build synergy, and constant adaptation.

First of all, I really like the art style : minimalism can be a crutch sometimes, but the art direction is great, it looks good and the game (including, crucially, the weapon and character icons) is always perfectly legible.

exactly what i hoped it would be. not too hard and not too simple so that progression is both meaningful and fun...i look forward to losing hours to this game....furthermore, the nautically themed bullethell IS the diamond in the ruff.

Sound design complements the action effectively, with punchy audio cues that reinforce combat feedback and help signal danger without becoming overwhelming.

One important thing to note is I played the game on steam deck for one long run, and everything worked great.
