There could be easier achievements/unlocks for the beginning of the game to allow for a couple more guns and crew members in subsequent runs, allowing new players to feel a slightly more satisfying sense of progression and adding to replayability.
First of all, I really like the art style : minimalism can be a crutch sometimes, but the art direction is great, it looks good and the game (including, crucially, the weapon and character icons) is always perfectly legible.
I love how great steering the ship feels, the visuals and sound design really click for me as well.
Rather than focusing on sprawling narrative or exploration, Nautical Survival commits fully to refining its gameplay loop, delivering a compact but highly addictive experience built around short, intense sessions that encourage experimentation and repeated play.
I can recommend this game for PC players, but definitely not for Steam Deck players.
