found out you can utilize the 32bit distribution of vkd3d-proton as the 64 bit version for whatever reason kicks an error back and run this game with way more performance and reduced temps at the cost of potentially non canon visuals. fun game with lots of customization and different strategies to be attempted for each run. also some details shift like locations of objects. just stuff i'm noticing I might not have included in my bashing or p.s. comments. theres a guide available showing the basic steps of getting vkd3d-proton up and running for the game which is of course a d3d12 to vulkan wrapper
To the Dev (who as an aside appears to be very actively patching and updating the game) I'm extremely keen for multiplayer mode to land as that would elevate this game to new heights!
It's a blast to play solo or in co-op.
