The simplicity of the visuals mirrors the simplicity of the gameplay, creating a perfect symmetry between design and emotion.
The story is abstract enough to still be interesting and not too confusing.
For starters, I love the eerie and anxiety inducing atmosphere from both the sound design and visuals, which fits into the main game-play loop really well as it helps to build the tension you feel whilst playing it.
A bit repetitive in the end, but the atmosphere and the sound design was really good and scary (I recommend playing with headphones on).
Hard mode was something where you would lose a lot despite trying to optimise it the best you could, with a heavy reliance on luck, and it worked well for people who wanted to have more of a thrill as well as a harder challenge.
