The story is interesting and I suppose it raises awareness about the problems that some family have and the poor souls the kids that don`t have fault.

For what is essentially a single dev's work, this is an impressive undertaking, and the crying mechanic that lures the enemy to you is fairly unique within the subgenre; among the numerous sanity-based mechanics that serve to make the character's job harder, the crying mechanic feels a little more in-line with the darker elements of the game, especially given the narrative context.
