The progression is linear but well-paced, there isn't unnecessary fetch/fish quest, grinding is optional as long as you are confident about your skill.
There is barely anything to make gameplay excitement from catching different fish and the story is just... bleh... like your typical RPG but they gotta involve fishing into it... also 15 dollars for something that looks like it would be made in ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ RPG Maker?
Beside me playing this on a Steam Deck so the optimization will be a little mid... this game was just not that fun whatsoever.
Tl;dr There's nothing about the game that makes it a fishing game aside from simple visuals, it could just as easily be a flower collecting game with a quick reskin.
There isn't any difficulty spike, and the game is very forgiving in most scenarios to the point of making most challenges casual.
