The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Do you love endless grinding, repetitive gameplay, and having every goal take hours to achieve just so you can start over again?
While the voice acting is good and the dialogue is overall fine, there was no reason to switch up from the text-only, pun-centric, communication of the previous game.
The game looks better, the music is more distinct/fun, there are tons of QoL improvements, better progression of your mech & passive skills, gameplay feels better, there is voice acting which is nice, I really like that we have 3 planets with distinct themes instead of 1, I liked the story overall etc.
The objective is straight to the point: drill into the procedural depths, fill up your cargo, head back to the surface to sell your loot, and customize your mech with unlockable parts to go even deeper.Planet-Hopping Visuals: The 2D side-scrolling environments feel much more diverse this time, featuring completely different planetary layers and distinct resources.Co-op Excellence: Just like the prequel, you can share the underground chaos with up to 7 friends in online co-op, making resource gathering a blast.Pure Collectathon: It perfectly scratches that itch of wanting to mine every single block on the screen and unlock every piece of equipment.Pros & ConsPROS:Polished Pixel Art: The 2D aesthetic is clean, colorful, and very pleasing to look at.Satisfying Loop: Progression feels fast and rewarding; you always feel the power spike after upgrading your drill or fuel tanks.Great De-stresser: The ideal "podcast game" to play while chilling out after a long day.CONS:Recent Feedback: As seen on its Steam page, recent reviews sit at Mostly Positive while overall reviews are Very Positive.

Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
