What players think
The recurring themes across 100 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The combination of survival mechanics, social manipulation, and steadily spreading fire creates a uniquely stressful atmosphere that few multiplayer horror games manage to sustain so consistently.
At first glance, the mechanics seem simple enough to understand quickly, but once the matches begin escalating, ARSONATE transforms into an intense mind game where survival depends just as much on reading other players as reacting to the environment itself.
There is also a potential for story telling too, which I would be interested to see more.
Graphics and sound design is pretty good, I liked the few music tracks in the game, especially in the pity mode.
If you can’t find friends to play with or if, like me, you prefer playing solo ARSONATE’s multiplayer mode offers entertaining AI teammates that play just like real players, along with additional fun features like match customization.
