This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, though for me it did detract from enjoyment of the gameplay and experience a bit.
The mechanics are fine, gamepad controls are a little awkward (wish I could speed up the mouse movement & some buttons do the same thing) but more than usable & you get used to it pretty quickly, graphics are great although fps fluctuates quite a bit & can stutter here & there but it's not game breaking by any means (bare in mind I play through a 60hz TV & not a monitor so Vsynk is turned on for most games).
Im sure there is a story and I would hope that the DEVs didnt want to stop where they did but that seems to be the case all the same.
I played the demo of this game a few months back & really enjoyed it, really happy it's controller compatible as being new to PC from Console Gaming trying to play games with Keyboard & Mouse is a nightmare, so chuffed to bits they've done that, I just wish other developers would do the same to their game's (TAKE NOTE YOU OTHER DEVELOPERS) lol.
The visuals are charming, the soundtrack is cozy, and the upgrade system keeps you coming back for “just one more batch.”
