The game is beautiful, the atmosphere is great, and the story is engaging (although short), with the delicate theme and context it is inserted into being handled with a lot of care.

One of the most interesting ideas the game introduces IMHO is the concept of some people exploring the caves being forgotten by everyone, and I think it could have been explored much more.

The lighting and shadows were important to get right given that they're woven into many aspects of the game, and I thought they were surprisingly well done, especially given the more retro aesthetics.

The soundtrack didn't seem very long but it's fabulous (S-tier main theme and save room music!), and the ambient sounds, monster noises, etc. helped immerse me in the setting.
