Oh god, finally a racing game with a story.
The gameplay is stellar, it's a fantastic twin-stick controll scheme with every character having their own unique abilities varying up the default playstyle just enough.
Sound design is impeccable, the soundtrack is an original composed score that pulls out all of the themes and emotions of the characters beautifully.
- Visuals: 3D graphics looks great, but can confirm highest settings are very demanding.
oh btw split screen is cool if you actually have friends or family games really need to bring this back.
I found the game to be exceptionally well optimized, never heard my GPU kick into overdrive once, the game never crashed, the only thing I experienced was the occasional unreal engine shadow glitch, other than that it pulled a consistent framerate across the full 19.5 hours it took me to play through the campaign.
