Yes, there have been incredible racing games across the last 15+ years from all levels of budget, but one that pairs excellent gameplay with a compelling story on top of it, that tries to immerse you into a world and give you characters to care about, to hate, to go through a journey with, it just doesn't happen with racing, BUT THEY TRIED IT HERE AND NAILED IT.

The gameplay is stellar, it's a fantastic twin-stick controll scheme with every character having their own unique abilities varying up the default playstyle just enough.
