What players think
The recurring themes across 107 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Rather than focusing on a heavy narrative, Machick emphasizes systems-driven gameplay, letting the joy of discovery and build experimentation carry the experience.
It's a simple game with a charming art style and tons of customisation, making every play through feel different.
At higher levels it gets too easy, after a few upgrades and you can't die even if you wanted too, did many 1h+ runs with maxed spells and all relics, had to forfeit to end the run because you can literally go afk and you will not die.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
