Characters make themselves heard and known, making beating the canines out of them all the more fun.
It takes the combat found in Punch Out, and uses it to let your step into the shoes of a girl psychotically in love with someone she's known all her life, in a world where they will hurt, if not outright MURDER her to be the one that claims the young man's heart, female or not.
Switching the gameplay from fighting the rivals into something similar like the NES games "River City Ransom" and "Kung Fu" was a nice change of pace, and honestly wish their was much more of it.
Great writing all around, catchy soundtrack, memorable visual style and fun combat system.
