The lore is static, it does not acknowledge the current state of the universe as well as any of the stuff happening during the plot, but w/e.
As far as the technical side of things graphics are not bad for a game this old.
This gradual progression from small-scale merchant to interstellar magnate is one of the game’s most satisfying arcs.
Station design is great, and overall, while X-Tension was cozy and glowy, X2 is darker and moodier with strong cyberpunk vibes, even more accentuated by dark gray UI and new additions to the soundtrack.
