Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road delivers a far more substantial and emotional Story Mode than I expected.
It feels barebones once you're deep enough into the "story" to realize it's just a grinding loop of rock-paper-scissors and piss easy matches. (once you FINALLY get to play against real teams) More than 60% of the gameplay in this game only exists to make the chapters last longer so the player doesn't see how empty and quick to finish the story mode is.
Even after 63 hours I feel like I've barely scratched the surface content wise and the fact that it also has 0 microtransactions removes any pay to win element from it's gatcha system and it even tells you the odds of getting certain hero rarities.
The soundtrack is phenomenal as well.
On my PC, I was able to play at 144 FPS on the highest graphics settings without any issues.
