What players think
The recurring themes across 56 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Multiple characters add replayability and once you're familiar with the mechanics the game can easily be beaten in under an hour.
The ability to swap between the original and new soundtrack is also a great bonus, and something that I wish more remakes had.
I imagine 4 player co-op is a particular blast and I'm hoping to try it at some point.
Multiplayer is where Night Slashers: Remake truly shines.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
