It holds all the trappings of games from that era - colourful, cartoony graphics, plenty of jumping-and-shooting, and an unforgiving difficulty level which should make lovers of games like Contra extremely happy campers.
Along the way, a little story unfolds which, while not bad, can easily be overlooked or skipped - the focus of this game is on challenge and gameplay, and boy does it ever deliver.
Now I'm exploring everything. :D And the controls are awesome with the 360 controller.
