The story is nothing special but its not bad either (most of it is told via the characters you find, once they get back to base after having saved them, you talk to them and then question them for info).
Yes, the amount of work made by the dev team is seen with the naked eye - great cartoony graphics, good optimization, nice systems here and there, but clearly this is a game that was created with the intention to gain all the donations from the players it possibly could.
Very fun, Great on SteamDeck!
