The story is nothing spectacular and pretty simplistic, even though some of the dialogue can be pretty funny (even though constantly referencing obvious things gets quite annoying).
It's perfectly functional aside from the few minor glitches I experienced, and the core gameplay is solid, but it does so little in terms of content variety and expansion, Has such a limied amount of variety in setting and styles, and relies too much on trial and error as a substitute for more entertaining forms of challenge that I can't find any great joy from it.
I had a decent amount of fun with this one: great graphics, hard-ish old style gameplay - with ups and downs - and a couple of nice touches of humor kept me going for a while.
Other than these things, this game is a serious blast, due to its quick pace, great bombastic sound design and an absolute effect overload.
