What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The gameplay is solid, feeling like a mix of *Rocket League* and *Overwatch* (you pick a character and literally play soccer using unique abilities).
Beetleball is an unusually imaginative multiplayer sports game that takes the basic idea of soccer and rebuilds it around dung beetles, class abilities, physics, and deliberately chaotic competition.
Overall this game is a lot of fun to play with friends or alone. (plus its really cheap and your supporting indie game developers by buying it)
Each character feels unique and fun, most characters have a bunch of tech you can learn, the artstyle is simplistic, and stylized.
This game is a big hit- super fun off rip and easy to pick up while providing a respectable skill ceiling.
