Graphics
Players who bring up Graphics mostly praise it.
the original Fate was a "cozy bloatware that came with my crappy laptop". its a game that is simple enough for anyone new to D&D style games can pick up and have fun with. its got that kind of "comfort food" XP era style graphics that will hit that sweet spot in nostalgia in much the same way thomas kinkade paintings will have you thinking about thanksgiving at your grandma's house.

Gameplay
Players who bring up Gameplay mostly praise it.
Designed during a period when hack-and-slash RPGs emphasized accessibility and replayability over cinematic spectacle, the game embraces a deliberately old-school philosophy focused on procedural exploration, steady character growth, and the addictive pursuit of ever-better loot.
