yes. but between the style, (oh the music fits the theme and is great too!), and the more active play style, I think it's 100% worth it and it does more than enough to set itself apart gameplay wise as well.

man this game hooked me HARD. really liked the art style (love cuphead), but still wasn't gonna pick it up cuz I don't really like survivors-likes/bullet heavens that much, but tried the demo and almost immediately picked it up.
