It should also be emphasized that 15 characters on launch, all of whom having substantial differences outside of the basic control scheme, is a MASSIVE achievement.
While my overall impressions are still quite positive (I genuinely love the design direction, for both gameplay and aesthetics), the experience has been marred substantially by technical issues since launch.
It gets exhausting — even clearing a single campaign level already feels tiring, let alone finishing arcade mode in one run, It would be great if the co-op mode offered shorter levels — something that could be finished in around 40 minutes — so players could enjoy online play without feeling completely drained.
That combined with the up to 4 player multiplayer, can allow for a total of 8 heroes on screen at any given moment.
