What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
While 1917 and 1944 have remained virtually unchanged with the exception of the improved quality/resolution, the addition of the Battle of the Bulge campaign was worth the price of entry on its own.
The cover/trench based gameplay allows for thrilling moments where tanks are pushing forwards whilst infantry make heroic charges en-mass as artillery and mortar shells rain down upon the battlefield.
The graphics and audio immediately show the love that the developers put into it, and the combat feels sharper, heavier, and more immersive while still keeping the core experience intact.
This is a 4K remaster of a popular Flash game series, with cool animations, character and vehicle models, extensive uses of voices and wonderfully ear-pounding battle sound effects.

Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No themes split opinion in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 4 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
