The narrative being "re-written" is very exaggerated, it's a minor rewording of the original but it's the exact same story.
The sound design contributes just as effectively: the quiet hum of the room, the occasional creak of the floor, and the distant suggestion of movement beyond your sight all combine to create a feeling of oppressive solitude.
It IS really short (like really, really short), so $5 is a liiiiiitle high, but the voice acting, atmosphere, and tense but fun gameplay (and even the wicked cool font) make up for it's length in ma opinion.
- Graphics: I love the damp library aesthetic the game is going for.
A pretty fun puzzle game that's not too hard, but takes some thinking to complete and lets you get a good ending in a lovecraftian setting so that's pretty strange/unique
