What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
I love pretty much everything about this game, the general story, the music, the art, the setting (the worldbuilding is incredible - this really feels like it takes place in a fully fleshed version of the future we're currently heading for - it's my favorite cyberpunk setting).
Loses to Ace Attorney in terms of music, humor, climax buildup, and overall content: I took 15 hours for full completion while reading everything carefully, and naturally there is minimal replayability (like AA and other purely linear visual novel games).
I liked the characters and the art style a lot.
Music and sound design - Music is also good, it fits the setting nicely and knows when and when not to go more dramatic.
It's very clear that this is inspired by Danganronpa to a certain degree - 2D sprites in 3D environments, "quirky" art style (still don't know how to feel about the spiky eyes), a lot of animated HUD elements, the track name display in the upper right with a visualiser and so on.
The mysteries themselves are really good, but a bit too easy in some areas.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No themes split opinion in this sample.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
