Voids Vigil

Voids Vigil is an ambitious roguelite action game developed and published by caiysware that successfully blends the addictive progression of survivor-style shooters with the customization depth of an RPG and the strategic planning of an auto-battler.

Rather than simply copying popular genre trends, it builds its own identity through a rich collection of ships, weapons, abilities, and upgrades that constantly encourage experimentation.

These games favor automatic fighting but there is an invulnerable dash button necessary for evading danger, with room to expand the energy pool it draws from but always emptying quickly, providing a high skill ceiling for the best timings.

The game play is your typical "Survivor" game with an awesome pixel art style.

The soundtrack is composed of decent royalty-free dark and gritty synthwave songs which match the theme and aesthetic of the game quite well and don't become irritating despite looping quickly; however, they aren't worth listening to outside of the game unless you're really into the genre.

Multiple vessel classes offer distinct starting attributes and playstyles, encouraging repeated playthroughs.
