• It feels very rewarding to play and is an excellent refinement of the gameplay that worked previously.
As someone that's played the series from its PS1 inception, through to PSP & Vita PS2/3/4, Hyde Inc have done a good job in continuing the series with this new, now multi platform release (At least on PC, this is easily the best performing release of the game with none of the stutters, 30fps or slowdown of the PS5/Switch versions) After 8 years since the last title in the series This is a worthwhile sequel for fans of the core golf game, but does lack some of the extra flair to be found in the PS4 version like the open lobby, free roaming courses and free roam online play.
That said, the game could be better optimized — I get 400+ FPS in R6 Siege, and that game looks way better, so yeah, there’s room for improvement.
