windowkill is a pretty good arena battler for the first few hours. it has a creative concept, fun and challenging gameplay, and decent sound design. sadly, it quickly succumbs to performance issues and lag, because the way it chooses to scale difficulty is "spawn more enemies."
Highly replayable, with various game modes, unlockables, characters, and mod support.
Surprisingly, the controller support is great, but you're gonna want a Steam Deck or Steam Controller.
Works SO well on Linux, and I was happy to see that there's a GNOME-like window theme in the settings!
The floating virtual display, alongside the colors and shifting windows, creates awesome, eye popping visuals.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 2 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
