In terms of gameplay, its combat is clearly differentiated from the Dynasty Warriors (DW) series with the addition of hyper attacks where you can string together strong attacks for combos - it starts with a dash and is used primarily for crowd clearing; due to this addition, the combat action is a lot more fast-paced.

Wow I honestly cannot believe it that Online Co-Op function, is also included, considering how they have removed it from Dynasty Warriors 8 and Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate, I did not have high expectation for them to keep it, but I am super happy that it's here, good job Koei Tecmo!
Combat

Simple controls, very satisfying to swim through enemies with hyper attacks, and after some time you can autopilot and just enjoy the crashing waves of bad guys against your weapons.
