Pretty much everything I liked about previous title is still here, solid gameplay with decent head-scratches of puzzles/investigation work, great humour, charming artstyle especially when it comes to paper cutout characters, smooth jazz soundtrack and fantastic voice acting.
the game is very charming. the voice acting, art style, and music are all very well done and contribute to the noir-yet-cute atmosphere. the characters are all endearing in their own way.
So core gameplay is still focused on solving a mystery by using wits, charm, and duck-related puns!
my biggest problem overall is how much handholding the games in this series do. this game has some mature plotlines -- namely that lewd photos are being exchanged -- but it treats the player with the assumption that a child is playing. it is way way too easy, and because of the handholding, you'll have the answer figured out for 10 minutes but have to putter around until you officially get the correct term in your word bank.
