What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
It feels like from the second you find Sarah up to the very end of the game, everything gets spoon-fed to you, both in instruction (how to do the rituals) and in terms of the nitty-gritty details of the story.
Still, minor sequence break aside, I enjoyed the always shifting gameplay, though I may of gotten too into dabbling in the minigames instead of chasing the mystery.
The style is impeccable, and you can tell that there were very very few compromises made in trying to create the visuals that come on screen.
I should also mention, the audio design and the PC segments are all incredibly well done as well.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 4 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
