What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The Path is a dark and mature stroll through the equally dark forest, and does a great job of making you feel like the young characters, stumbling across new things and wanting to see what they are, woefully ignorant of the dangers nearby.
* The graphics are jagged and low-res, which has been adjusted for with the art style, but better graphics and resolution would have helped bring out more in this title
* Really good sound and music design - an off-note girls choir is subtly haunting
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 4 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
