What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Chronology is a thoughtful and endearing puzzle-platformer developed and published by Bedtime Digital Games, blending inventive mechanics with a heartfelt narrative about time, consequence, and companionship.
The game has a cool combination of mechanics from Braid and Limbo along with a nice art style, but other than that the story was not that amazing and the final 'boss' was very anti climatic.
-Interesting gameplay concept.
I'd very much recommend dropping the $3 on the OST.
The puzzle difficulty is quite good, and the length of the game is short, about 2 hours to complete the game.
Took me more time to get this to run on Linux than actually playing (Proton 5.0 + Protontricks) and also had to set a custom button layout for controller support.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
