Another huge part of the games great combat, is how the dashing and dogging work so well, it never gets old watching your enemy’s fly to the other side of the screen, and catching right up to them, in a split second just to keep the beat down going, then sending the body whirling into the rest of the enemy’s.

You even have the option to tackle the world with a friend with its drop-in co-op; which is great because in Aces Wild you will definitely need all the help you can get!

Fortunately, the soundtrack is well done delivering some fantastic 16bit tracks and sounds.

When it comes to the visuals, there's a vibrant, hand-drawn style here that makes every character, boss, and enemy type recognizable and memorable; the bosses in particular are all stellar between their patterns and their actual designs and are the biggest challenges in the game, as they should be; you'll have more trouble with the 2nd boss than some rooms in the 4th and 5th levels.
