One of the things that I did not realize until way later in the game is how much the characters vary, which became really important for my hardcore run.
I was surprised by how addicted I was to the core gameplay loop and was not expecting to put in over 16 hours into the game and go for all the achievements.
It is fun to explore what comes by digging deeper, especially in local coop, trying to go for big chains is also an interesting addition, plus the newly added little puzzles.
The graphics have their own style to them and I think it works pretty well.
The sound design is decent, the music is pretty good although it does just stop sometimes (and for very long times at that) and it really feels odd to drill in silence.
