this is a very enjoyable game and especially for free it's a steal. from the first seconds of launching the game and sitting at the starting screen I already loved the music, but going forward it's just a chef's kiss how good the sound design and music are, how well crafted and matched audio with gameplay are 👏
Demon of Sound and Soup - The visuals are endearing and the song is absolutely a Banger, but it really could use a visual beat indicator like Crypt of the Necrodancer.
Be careful as not to play recklessly, though, as the higher difficulty levels introduce more styles of shapes into the playing field, so you have to choose wisely which shapes to remove in order to free the moais.
The sound design, music, art and map layout are of a quality I did not expect to find in a free fangame like this one.
The "ending" is just *chef's kiss*.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No themes split opinion in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 2 more themes were each raised by fewer than 5 sampled reviews and are not shown.
