The farming is weaker than SV but I found the characters stronger, the writing is actually entertaining which is a small miracle in of itself these days.
The gameplay feels very polished, I haven't encountered any bugs.
The pixel art style is very detailed and well done.
I’m playing in the steam deck no edits to the layout and it works good.
Playing with a controller feels a bit wonky at times, for instance when you are watering you really just want to be moving along the major axes (East-West or North-South) and I constantly find myself moving off at a 45 degree angle (to the NE for instance).
The gentle music and also the nature sound effects all complement the mood.
