Especially toward the second half of the game, I think all the warping effects were done really well, it wasn't just playing around with perspective, I think the weirdness of it complemented the story a lot.

What surprised me the most though weren’t the visuals as I would imagine, which are trippy and unique but the atmospheric and amazing soundtrack which not only complemented but even elevated the experience.
