What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The story is interesting, enough to keep me hooked up and make me care about the characters, but it lost me at some points, probably because it's been a while since I played all other Metro games and don't remember the overarching story that well, but there is a lot more paranormal then usual.
Overall It's a fine and fun game, but not worth $40 for only ~13h of gameplay and all the issues I spoke of, definitely wait on a discount if you plan on playing this game.
The inventory and gun mechanics are awesome as expected from a Metro game.
Overall, this is a great game to get into VR alongside Half Life: Alyx Immersive mechanics, graphics, and audio.

Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and is not shown.
