Metro Awakening

The story is interesting, enough to keep me hooked up and make me care about the characters, but it lost me at some points, probably because it's been a while since I played all other Metro games and don't remember the overarching story that well, but there is a lot more paranormal then usual.

Level design (the second half throws varied threats at you, forcing new playstyles)

The beginning gets tedious rather quickly, but it's the second half of the game that truly shows what it's capable of (more enemy types, more weapons, the plot unwinds its secrets).

The game looks crisp, most the textures (with some uncommon exceptions ie. some machinery) look high resolution, with PBR and bump mapping, which makes the textures look even better when the lighting hits just right.

Almost 37 hours to complete and I can't wait to do another run with more difficulty.

So far a very quality feeling vr experience, voice acting is great, performance is great around 85% of the time although scenes with dynamic shadows tank performance heavily (hoping this will get fixed in patches).
