i say this lightly that i recommend it because its a large investment, game is EXTREMELY rough and almost everything is unpolished. backup ai is retarded, always gets shot and that only happens because its under some specific glitch circumstance where it just aims at the threat and doesnt shoot for whatever reason. armed suspect ai has aimbot, they shoot too much, every time you go to a gang shooting they always agree to start shooting at cops instead of running, which is dumb because that barely ever happens and they just unify like they werent just trying to kill each other. traffic ai still doesnt know how to pull over for sirens, when you release them from traffic stops they immediatly find a red light to run, and when they ask for guidance on where to pull over, they just do some retarded u turn and start hitting cars, and when you tell them to get out, they dont. limited calls, as in like 4 different calls im pretty sure, they always happen in the same spot, but i think that will get fixed pretty quickly. the police computer is still kind of broken because literally EVERYONE is a violent criminal with some sort of priors, but it doesnt say how many times they got arrested, nobody is on probation, no warrants, that kind of stuff is broken which will get updated later. there are still pros at the moment, like unexpected stuff happens, and its still pretty fun when the ai works and everything runs smoothly. driving is fun and feels weighted like driving a real car. right now, the game isnt great obviously, but with the updates this game is promising, it will be complete HEAT in a couple months to a couple years when they add stuff like fixes and new calls and overall adding onto the game. multiplayer will also completely solve the dumb police ai too, so they should work on that too. if you are willing to give this game time to evolve and grow, buy it, but if you wont buy it right now, keep a close eye on it because it got released a couple weeks ago and they are already updating it.
